I just bought a potted primrose and I dont know if it is doing too well... What are it's needs?! I do not have a green thumb but want it to live! I water it every other day and keep it in the sunlight.

I've never grown one as a houseplant - But my outside ones are in a shady spot.
I suspect it want bright, but INDIRECT light as a houseplant. Try to keep it out of direct sun, or put a sheer between the sun and your plant.
They also prefer it cool. 50-60F. Place a tray of rocks and water nearby (or under - without having the bottom of the pot IN water) to increase the humidity around the plant if the temps are higher than 60.
