Does anyone know the recommended daily dose of evening primrose oil capsules?

I have found a lump in my breast and am seeing Dr again to check in another 10 days but thought it might be a good idea to take these in meantime but it says 1-2 a day and i don't know what daily recommended is!!!

The active ingredient of evening primrose in gamolenic acid. Check out Holland and Barrett, they are cheaper than most. Their 1000mg capsules have 90 mgs/ capsule of gamolenic acid, their instruction is up to 3 a day, medically I would say 4 would also be fine.





500 caps is about £30.





I refer ALL lumps for a breast surgeon to check them!!

Reply:i take those because i get dry skin but i take 3 capsules a day.
Reply:A healthy adult can take up to 3000mg a day, thats 3 of the 1000mg capsules spread out through the day.
