Has anyone used evening primrose oil after they have started to dilate but?

obviously before thier water broke. I am 38 weeks 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. My doc is talking induction so I was wondering who here have used evening primrose oil and had success with it

I have never used it so I probably shouldn't be answering this one , but I wanted to warn you . My midwife told me that Evening Primrose CAN possibly cause internal tearing of the cervix unless you are a first time mother.That may be something you would want to check into.
