inside and this should help your cervix start opening up. If anyone has had personal experience, please share - I am interested in reading about anyone's personal opinions, comments and/or anything that are not facts. Thank you for any feedback.

Yes, it can help soften the cervix. What I've been told to do is to poke a hole into 2 or 3 caps and insert them into the vagina all the way back by the cervix. You'll need to lay down for a while after you do this so that the caps can dissolve. Also, you can take 2 or 3 orally at the same time. Do this once or twice a day and it should start to do some good :)
Reply:Herbal treatments can be dangerous to your baby. You should only use this under your doctor's supervision and just b/c your cervix opens up doesn't mean you will go into labor and can allow harmful bacteria into the uterus if you dialate too soon.
Reply:I have never heard that one and would be very cautious about what I put in my cervix. It is used to help diminish hot flashes. For that they are swallowed.
Reply:Yes, I've done it. And, it worked like a charm with my last pregnancy. When they were talking induction I started on the primrose oil every 3/4 hours in the highest dosage. I'd let it dosisolve by laying on the bed for about 10 minutes. Then I'd get on my excersize ball and rock.

I was in full fledge labor the next morning!!

It's safe to do the week of your due date and more so when they talk induction. I was given the advice of a very experienced midwife. Not only did she deliver all five of her babies naturally but she's spent her life helping other people do it too :)))
Reply:Here is some good info, never tried it myself.
