Learn to hit from primrose schools?

My son started going to primrose schools and it has just been 4 days. We have observed that he has started hitting myself and his mom very often....he is 2 yrs old and this is his first time ever for a school. Can someone focus on this issue? we dont hit him at home

My bet is he probably has gotten this behavior from a little one at the school. At two, when children are learning to communicate they often go through hitting stages to when they don't have the words to communicate. I would ask his teacher about it. Maybe say something like "We have notice our son hitting at home, have you noticed it?" This will help the teacher to be honest with you (he/she should be, but sometimes it is hard to give parents bad news.) Of course if you feel at all uncomfortable with the school setting look for a new place. Parents have instincts for a reason.
Reply:the kids at school could be hitting, or he might be mad at you for putting him in school already, sorry but I think 2 is way to young to start anything like that
