Where can I find evening Primrose oil? Can this help soften my cervix?

You can find it at most major supermarkets and drugstores, in the vitamin and supplement section. It comes in capsule form, and you have to insert them vaginally. The best time to do it is before bed, so you won't be getting up and leaking oil all over. It is supposed to help, but it didn't seem to do much for me. But everyone's different. It's pretty inexpensive, and it can't hurt to try. Good luck!

i never heard of it i'm 37 wks and 6 days i make 38 wks and my cervix just starting to get soft...how far along r u??
Reply:Yes its supposed to ripen your cervix, you are supposed to take 1000 mg 3 times a day. It will not induce labor but will help get things going.

I am 37 weeks and I have been taking it since 36.

You can get it at Walgreens or Eckerds

Good luck
Reply:You can buy EPO at Wal-mart or Target or GNC. I just started taking it last month. My hubby %26amp; I are trying to concieve a baby %26amp; I heard it makes you have more cervical mucus which improves chanccces of pregnancy. However I don't know if it helps with softening the cervix? I did read online not to take it during pregnancy becuase it can couse the uterus to contract. I guess depending on how far along you are (like if you are over due) it may be ok -- but I would definately ask your doctor if it's safe! God bless you %26amp; hope you have a healthy baby!!!!!!
