Reply:it is most commonly used for p.m.t and can help accociated breast pain when its your time of month . It can also be taken to help ease arthritis and if used as a cream can help eczma.
Reply:Evening primrose, or its active ingredient gamolenic acid, has been claimed to cure or improve pretty much everything over the years.

A big metanalysis ( study that looks at all the existing studies ) about 10 years ago, looked at this in detail. It only showed one area where it consistently was better than placebo, ( though not by a huge margin,) and that was in cyclic mastalgia, ( monthly breast pain.) For PMT itself it was no better than placebo.

Despite this sometimes useful effect, it was blacklisted and can no longer be prescribed on the NHS as the effect was marginal and most GP prescriptions for it turned out to be for problems that it actually had no effect on!
Reply:yes both good and you can buy a combination of both in one capsule
Reply:Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge England, recommend for reducing the incidence of breast cysts, they give an info sheet out at the breast clinic.

It is also used for reducing hot flushes....
